What NOT To Do To Make The Next Dollar
Have you ever found yourself just running around in circles trying to figure out how to make the
next dollar (or maybe even your first dollar) online?
Then, once you do, you start to think, "Well, that was nice, but then how do I make the next dollar
and the next?"
I believe there is the bigger issue than actually making (or not making) that dollar. The bigger
issue is that your audience wants to know you, like you and trust you. Once you've built that trust
and then start giving them opportunities to "dip" their toes in slowly to get a chance to see more
about what you do with a low or free priced offer, then they are more than likely willing to spend
more money with you as they build that trust with you.
I see many people wanting the dream lifestyle of the 6-figure Work-From-Home CEO, but they
often think that their one $27 e-book will get them there. In fact, if we do the math, to get to a
$100,000 sales year with that one e-book, you'll literally have to sell exactly 3,703.70 e-books to
make that mark.
While I'm sure there is someone out there who has probably done it, I can tell you that is RARE
and more importantly, much more work than you need to do within your business'
products/services structure.
What do I mean? Think about it: If you like someone, and you buy a $27 e-book from them, you
may just be interested in buying other products from them if they meet your needs, right?
So if we flip the seat to you Ms. Business Owner, you don't want to put all your dreams on
one product. You want to give excellence in this first product, that can then lead your new
interested client into your other products and services that can compliment this e-book/course/etc. It's actually easier to get to your six-figure goal by creating more
products/services that compliment each other than giving away your entire store at the very low
price of $27.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this article. We'll start a thread in the "The Social"
hear your thoughts and get your ideas on how we can all do this in our businesses.
